Something new is really happening in the third term of PM Modi. According to the Report of The Hindu, Narendra Modi is going to meet employee leaders for the first time in 10 years. Yes, the union leaders have received this message from the government. Union leaders have been informed about meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence 7, Lok Kalyan Marg on Saturday, 24 August 2024. However, till the time of writing this news, the union leaders have not received communication regarding the time.
The attitude of the NDA government seems to have changed after the Lok Sabha election. That is why for the first time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with employee leaders in the central government.
Shiv Gopal Mishra, Secretary of the National Council (Staff Side) has recently received a letter from the JCA Section of the Ministry of Personnel and Training of the Central Government. In this there has been talk of a meeting with the PM. Before this, during the two tenures of PM Modi, these leaders never got the opportunity to meet directly with the Prime Minister in this regard.
The Union leaders say that every issue will be discussed in this meeting with PM Modi. There is hope that something will be cleared on 8th Pay Commission, withdrawal of old pension scheme etc. It is said that in this meeting the biggest emphasis will be on restoring the Old Pension Scheme.
